Peter was born and raised in the Athens suburb of Marousi where his love of music began to flourish. At the age of seventeen, Peter purchased his first guitar, began private lessons, and decided at that point that he would pursue music as a profession. Peter's choice did not sit well with his father as at the time there was a negative stigma associated with professional musicians in Greece, however Peter continued to persevere and develop his talent in spite of the obstacles that he faced.
Peter developed his craft even further when he entered the Greek Air Force and was a percussionist for the Marching Band. Peter performed regularly for events commemorating national observances where he often performed for dignitaries and heads of state. Following his service in the Air Force, Peter traveled to Germany where he entertained at various Greek establishments catering to Greek and non Greek clientele.
